Diksha Foundation – Sustainable and inclusive urbanization in Patna
Diksha Foundation entered in partnership with UNFPA and Patna Municipal Corporation for developing Patna into a socially smart and inclusive city with a focus on lifelong learning. Their engagement in this project covers training of Sanitation Workers, Ward Councilors, youth, and women residents in vulnerable slum communities. Saral collaborated with Diksha to research and solve the problem of sanitary napkin availability in the community.Together we have established 3 packaging units in the slums of Patna, giving employment to 15 women and involving 51 women as Sanginis for door-to-door sales.
